Dr. Shunsuke NOSAKA

Dr. Nosaka graduated from St. Marianna University School of Medicine in 1984.  He carried out his residency and completed his PhD in radiology at St. Marianna University School of Medicine in 1990.  He did his pediatric radiology visiting fellowship at University of Iowa from 1990 to 1992.  He was a faculty member of St. Marianna University School of Medicine from 1992 to 2001, and then move to National Children’s Hospital.  Dr. Nosaka had been working in the Department of Radiology, National Center for Child Health and Development since 2002 to 2013 served as a Division Chief of Pediatric Radiology. Since 2013, he has been working as a director of the Department of Radiology. Since 2022, Dr. Nosaka has been serving as a deputy director of hospital. He is a member of various societies including Japan Radiological Society, Japanese Society of Pediatric Radiology (President from 2012 to 2015), Japanese Society of Interventional Radiology, Asian and Oceanic Society for Pediatric Radiology (Common Member).  Dr. Nosaka’s major interests include emergency pediatric radiology, pediatric ultrasound, pediatric hepatobiliary radiology, and pediatric interventional radiology.
