Dr. Kish Mankad is the Clinical Lead for the Paediatric Neuroradiology service at GOSH. He is an Associate Professor at the GOS UCL Institute of Child.
He has an extensive education and training portfolio, having directed and delivered comprehensive teaching programmes across UK, Australia, China, India and South America. He also directs the Paediatric Neuroradiology Masterclass at GOSH and founded the Society of Pediatric Neuroimaging. He has been Visiting Professor to SickKids, Toronto, University of Messina in Italy, and University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, USA and was awarded the 2020 Outreach Professor in Neuroradiology to Ghana by the World Federation of Neuroradiological Societies.
He has authored five text-books, 250 peer reviewed publications and several book chapters.
He believes that ‘Teaching is about inspiring generations to think, not just filling people’s heads with information’.
